Yolanda “JoJo” Saldana was born on March 6, 1967 on St. Thomas U.S Virgin Islands to Luz Delia Rivera and to the late Francisco Saldana. She departed this earth on August 3,2024.
Yolanda worked at Bethlehem Housing Authority and loved her job and all other opportunities to meet new people. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, and volunteered at the Help Center in Bethlehem.
Yolanda always had a given heart for others, for example if someone liked something of hers and gave her a compliment on it, she would take it off and give it to that person. She never thought twice to give or help. She was always the life of the party. She was a dedicated hard worker who LOVED her family.
She was preceded in death by brother: Manuel Saldana, sisters: Irene Rivera and Toja Saldana.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Three children: (son)Francisco Saldana, (daughters) Bernice Hardy & Timee Saldana, four grandchildren. Sisters: Carmen, Trudy, Francisca, Juanita, Sonia, & Arosa. Brothers: Miguel, David, Luis, & Juanito. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends, too numerous to mention.
In respect for Yolanda wishes, no Funeral Services will be held. Her request was to be cremated.
Our Family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all the expressions of kindness and thoughtfulness shown to us during our time of bereavement. We ask that you cherish the memories you have of Yolanda “JoJo” close to your heart.
May God bless and keep each of you.
Thank you…
