Sherry N. Day

Sherry N. Day was born on December 24, 1951, to the late Willie Swift and Ophelia Day in Ridgely, TN.
She passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Sherry will be
remembered for her magnetic personality. She touched the lives of all those she met. She loved many
and was well loved in return.
Sherry leaves to cherish her memory, Daughters: Dana R. Day of Allentown, PA; Toya D. Will and
husband James of Peekskill, NY; Sons: Jermaine R. Day and wife Paige of Allentown PA; Rodney D. Day
and wife Danielle of Schnecksville, PA; Brothers: Larry Swift of Ridgely, TN; Mack Swift of Atlanta,
Georgia; Frederick Swift of Memphis, TN; Sisters: Lillie House of Austin, TX; Shirley Swift of Gary,
Indiana; a special niece, Cynthia Day; a special cousin, Ethelene Swift-Span; 17 grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Sherry was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Day; Sisters: Betty Day-Drummond, Diane Garner
and Ossie Abandaja; Brothers: Willie Mose Swift, Robert Earl Swift and Bobbie Swift and a beloved nephew Nevin Day.
