Shaneequah Nicole Peebles

Shaneequah Nicole Peebles, who was affectionately known as “Baby Girl” to her family and friends, answered her Master’s call and peacefully went to her eternal home on Sunday, September 20, 2020. She was born February 14, 1985 in Newark, NJ to Roberta Peebles-Mack and George Johnson. She was raised in Newark and attended the Newark Public School System until the age of 16 until moving to Easton, PA where she continued her education.

Baby Girl believed in family values and keeping the family together. Her most treasured blessings were the birth of her two daughters, Janiyah and Destiny. She was a proud mother and loved her daughters dearly. Baby Girl was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was very generous and loyal and won the trust and hearts of many. Over the years she was an employee for several different fast-food franchisees, a home health aide and most recently employed at Giant Supermarket.

Shaneequah was a young woman of extraordinary character and dignity who loved unconditionally and transferred this respect to every individual she encountered.

Shaneequah leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories:  daughters, Janiyah and Destiny Falwell; parents, Roberta Peebles (Hakeem) Mack of Allentown, PA and George Johnson (Maxine Townes) of Newark; sisters, Juanita Peebles of Plainfield, NJ, Latosha Peebles (Tyrone Birchwood) of Newark, Stephanie Townes of Newark, Dominique Bryan of Bronx, NY, Latia Townes of Newark, Samira, Fatima and Tamia Mack all of Allentown, Arleliq; brothers, George Townes of Newark, Hakeem Peebles of Bronx, NY, Anthony, Alquan Mack of Easton, Talim Mack of Allentown; maternal grandmother, Frances Mae Johnson of Scotland Neck, NC; aunts, Theresa Peebles of Newark, Paulette and Evelyn Baker of Americus, GA, Cushellia Johnson of Greensboro, NC; uncles, Albert (Shirley) Johnson of Willingboro, NJ and Kevin Johnson of Virginia; nieces, Ty’Tiana, Emani, Autumn Summer, Jayana, Morgan, D’Nylah, Ashley, Jaylan and Megan; nephews, Nysir, Sameed Sr., Dominic, Samj, Demir, Ja’mari, Christian, King, Kyrie, Duan Jr., Adrian and Gabriel; a host of relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Brook and John Lewis Peebles, Sr., John Henry Alston; sister, Lateshia; aunt, Amanda; uncles, Johnny and John Lewis, Jr.; special friend, Edon Falwell, her daughters’ father.
