Ricardo “Buster” Saunders, 79, of Easton was called home to be with the Lord on December 8th 2022.
Born in Scranton, to the late Wilhelmina and Manuel Saunders.
At an early age he moved to Bethlehem with his sister and cousins. A 1960 graduate of Liberty High School where he wrestled and played football. Afterward Buster attended Churchman Business School.
He Served in The United States Air Force as an Airman from 1966 to 1970.
Buster was known for his special skills as a part-time bartender at Round 1 & Ringside, Easton. He retired from Colgate-Palmolive, Morrisville, New Jersey after working there as a supervisor for several years.
He was a friend of Bill W., loved to spend his time in fellowship, deep sea fishing and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
Surviving is a daughter, Winona Dotson and granddaughter Qiana Wert (Smith) both of Seattle, Washington; brother Bill Dixon and his wife Janet of Plymouth, PA; brother Manual Griffin and his wife Mary Ann of Archibald, PA; nieces Isla Long and her husband A-Sar of Easton; Marcia Villamil and her husband Johnny of Freemansburg, PA; Raymond G. Thompson Jr. and his wife Arlenda of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Vivian Hungerford of Bethlehem, PA; Mary Ellen Diggs of Bethlehem, PA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his sisters Margaret Griffin of Detroit, Michigan, Elsie Luciano of Bethlehem, PA; brothers Bert Tarboro, Jr. and Johnny Tarboro of Bethlehem, PA and Jim Griffin of Dayton, Ohio.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Comfort Suites, 120 West 3rd St, Bethlehem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Buster’s memory to the Easton Area Neighborhood Center Inc., 902 Philadelphia Road, Easton, PA 18042.
