Pauline Plummer, 92 of Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on July 4th, 2020, surrounded by her loving family and caregiver friends. Pauline was born April 6th, 1928 in Miami Florida. She was the oldest child from the union of parents Ida and George McDonald. Pauline moved from Florida to Allentown after she married Emery Plummer in 1956 when the two became a loving blended family of six, later adding two more to their union. Pauline worked in the health care field when she first settled in Allentown, but quickly transferred to the telecom manufacturer Western Electric which changed over many decades, to become Lucent Technologies. She retired from Lucent Technologies to enjoy her family and friends. Pauline was a truly avid traveler who enjoyed taking trips with her children and grandchildren. She also loved to cook and never met a face she didn't want to feed.
Pauline is preceded in death by husband Emery Plummer, son David Sands, 4 siblings and parents, Pauline is survived by daughters Beverly Rosario Whyms of Washington DC, Shiela Joyce of Philadelphia PA, Debra Mainz of Allentown PA. Sons Emery Plummer of Bethlehem PA, Brian Plummer of Bethlehem PA, Step daughters Octavia Plummer of Allentown PA, Sheila Alexander of Fort Lauderdale FL, Daughter in law Pamela Plummer, Son in law Winston Alexander, 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
