God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put His arms around you and whispered, “Come to me”.  With tearful eyes and broken hearts we watched you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest, in that moment God had proved to us he only takes the best.

Orin Wayne Griffith, 59, Allentown, Pennsylvania, joined the Lord on October 19,2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus. Born and raised in Georgetown, Guyana, he was the son of Rita Johnson and Terrence Kirton. He battled cancer for 10 years, which was testament to his strength and perseverance in this life. 

He leaves to cherish loving memories: his daughter, Jocelyn White. His sons Quintin White, Jevon White, and Ozzy Griffith. His parents, Rita Johnson and Terrence Kirton. His brother Wayne Griffith Kirton and family. His sisters, Beverly Griffith Williams and husband Roger family, Latoya Griffith Slater and husband Damon and family, and Ann Griffith Holly and husband Allan and family. He was predeceased by his sister Veronica Griffith James.

Also survived by other family including: Patricia McDonald and family, Sandra Britton and family, Deborah Walker and Family, Kemi Hollings and family, Evan Isaacs and family, Gail Wiltshire and Family, and Yvonne McDougall and family as well as a very large and loving community of family and friends.

Services: A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 2 pm. Followed by services from Minister Kennedy of St. John’s AME Zion Church held at Jesse Johnson Funeral Home at 426 Hanover Ave in Allentown, PA.
