Mary J. (Harris) Burkes

Mary Jewel Burkes passed away on Friday January 7th 2022 at St Luke’s Hospice in Bethlehem Pa

Born June 28th 1938 in North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Chase and Lillie Mae Harris.  The wife of JB Burkes and mother of Mary Lee White and Jacquline K. White

Surviving are two sisters: Lucille Harris; Corine Johnson

4 children: Vera (James) Montgomery (Easton);  Diane White (Easton); Daniel Burkes (Bangor)

7 grandchildren: Jaquline White;  Valisa Walker; Brian Walker (Michael); Sheena Montgomery; Danielle Burkes; and Octavia Montgomery.

And 13 great grandchildren.
