James R. Schaeffer

James R. Schaeffer, 63, of Allentown, passed away, Monday, March 15, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Allentown Campus surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Allentown, James was a son to the late William and Madeline James Schaeffer. James was a hardworking simple man who loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and close friends.

Survivors: sisters, Patsy Neff (Jerry) of Northampton, and Kathy Schaeffer of Allentown; “Aunt Sharon”; mother of his three sons, Pam Grimshaw; sons, Brett (Kathleen) of Northampton, Ryan (Danielle) of Coopersburg, and Jarrett of Allentown; long time companion, Mary Ettl; 2 nephews, 1 niece, and 8 grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He was predeceased by a sibling, Billy Schaeffer.
