Grace Mae Luckett was born July 25th, 1942, in Canton, MI to the late Dave and Emma Luckett. Grace left home at the age of 16 to attend the Job Cooperation Placement in her Hometown. Upon graduation she embarked on a her career in New York City.
In 1960, Grace began providing nanny services to many families in Roosevelt, Long Island. During her time in Roosevelt, she met her late husband Jim Dysart while attending Mount Sinai Church. They wed on 1966 and moved to Freeport, Long Island. From this union they raised their two children, son: James Dysart and daughter: Renee Dysart with an abudance of love an affection.
In 1988, Grace relocated to Allentown, PA with her daughter Renee, to further her career and horizons as a crispin, perfume creator and handbag designer amongst other things. After retiring from Jameson Plastic and until her death, Grace spent her time volunteering at Lehigh Valley Hospital and attending to her greatest hobby, garderning.
In 1954, at the age of 12, Grace dedicated herself and her life to the Lord Jesus Christ. After moving to Allentown in 1990 Grace became a member of Union Baptist Church with the late Rev. D. Melton. Decades later in 2022, with Rev. Benjamin T. Hailey, Grace rededicated her life to Christ as her Lord and Savior.
Grace was a extraordinary women of many talents, being a wife, mother and grandmother was where she excelled the best. Grace loved her family and friends with undying love and had the biggist, prettiest smile to share with them. Making a bad day the best day. Our matriarach will be forever missed and will live on through everyone she touched.
Grace leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memories children: James Dysart of Long Island, NY and Renee Dysart of Long Island, NY. Three Grandchildren: Marcel Jones of Brooklyn, NY, Marcquis Jones of Brooklyn, NY, Cassandra Clement (Steve) of Atlanta, GA. Siblings: Dorothy Key (Max) of Milwaukee, WI and Sherman Luckett (Terra) of Memphis, TN along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents Dave and Emma Lucket and siblings Sylvester Luckett, Henry Luckett, David Luckett and Parisienne (Peaches) Luckett Morris.
