"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" ~ 2 Timothy 4:7

On June 6, 2026, Estelle Elizabeth Colton Butler passed away peacefully at the age of 86, leaving behind a legacy of service and love for the lord. Estelle was born to the late Elizabeth Colton on March 8, 1940, at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Later she moved to New York City where she received her early education and graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1957.

Estelle married and lived in Bronx, NY until she had her first son Glenn L. Butler. When he was one month old, she moved to Bethlehem, PA and lived with her in-laws for a year before moving to Dover Lane in Bethlehem until 1963 and later built her own home on 10th Street in Bethlehem.

Estelle held multiple jobs throughout her life at Belt Factory, Radio City, Kmart, Holtz Factory, Two Guys, Two Guys, Pathmark, Nicki Lynn Sportwear, and Walmart. She also took care of her great uncle for many years. Estelle retired from Walmart after 15 years of service.

In 1997, Estelle joined St. Paul’s Baptist Church. She later became a missionary where she first served as Treasurer followed by President. She also volunteered with the Bethlehem Bulldogs girls’ basketball team in the 70’s.

Estelle was very proud of all four of her sons, Glenn, Douglas, Randy, and David; she loved them very much. She also cherished all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
