ALLENTOWN - Andrew C. Fernando, 62, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, in
Allentown, Pennsylvania surrounded by his family. Born on July 2, 1963 in Manila, Philippines
and raised in Camden, NJ. Andrew was educated at St. Anthony of Padua in Camden, NJ,
Camden Catholic High School in Cherry Hill, NJ, and later graduated from Penn State
University. His early career began in education as a math teacher at Veterans Memorial School
in Camden and later in the Caribbean island of St. Thomas. Andrew transitioned into a
successful career in real estate and timeshare sales. He owned and operated real estate
ventures in New Jersey and went on to serve as Director of Timeshare Sales at Massanutten
Resorts in Virginia, where he earned several top salesman awards. His leadership and sales
expertise also took him to resorts across Las Vegas, South Carolina, and Florida. He is lovingly
remembered by his mother, Norma Fernando; his grown children, Gabriella Fernando and Ben
Fernando (Emma); his brother, Dr. Antonio Fernando; his sister, Dr. Larissa Fernando Dominy
(Ken); and his nieces Calista Dominy, Christa Dominy, and Gracie Fernando. He was preceded
in death by his father, Bienvenido Fernando. Andrew’s greatest joy was to provide for his
children to afford them a comfortable life. His passions extended beyond his professional life.
He held a brown belt in karate and enjoyed playing basketball. His favorite song was “Hotel
California”. Those who knew him will remember his passionate spirit, generosity, fierce loyalty,
sociability, hard work, determination, creativity, ambition, and sense of humor. A Celebration of
