Obituary

Rodney Wayne McCloud, Jr.  of Allentown, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the age of 43.

Rodney was born to parents, Rodney and Caroline McCloud on

January 1, 1974 in Newark, New Jersey.  He was the eldest child and graduated from Catasauqua High School.  Rodney worked at Walmart as an overnight stocker for many years until his health took a turn for the worse. 

Rodney was the proud father of one child, Kobi.  He was also a mentor and disciplinarian to his nephews.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved sports.  He especially loved his regular dinner dates with his mother after sending his nephews to school.  Rodney also liked to play video games, particularly Injustice with his beloved Marcell McCloud.

Rodney is survived by his mother, Caroline McCloud; stepfather, Emanuel Njamfon; his son, Kobi McCloud; grandmother, Rosa Lee Barr; his brothers, Allen McCloud, Kareem McCloud and Everett Brown; his aunts, Lylis Scott and Jannie Smith; his uncles, William Scott and Henry (Cornethia) McCloud; special nephews, Marcell, Latieef, Nasir, Jada; sister-in-law, Gracie Martinez and a host of extended family & friends.
