Verna Ruth Howard

Verna R. Howard,60, of Bethlehem, PA died November 26,2015 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was born in St. Petersburg, FL to the late Jacob Augusta Francis and Ollie Mae Stanley-Francis-Portee. Verna was the wife of the late Rudy Howard, Jr. She was employed by KNBT(National Penn Bank) for more than 20 years. Verna found Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of St. James A.M.E. Zion Church where she served as Deaconess

Survivors: Verna is survived by daughter Summer N. Howard-Pearyer and son-in-law Walter L. Pearyer, one sister, Olivia Mason, brother, Dan Francis, three grandchildren, and a host of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.

Services: Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday December 5, 2015 at St James A.M.E. Zion Church located at 410 Union St. , Allentown.

The family will receive callers at 10:30am in the church.
