He was born in Leeds Al. to the late Willie Clark and Theola Richardson.

Richard is survived by sons, Richard,Jr. and Joshua M. Artreche. He is also survived by daughters, Rachel Llano, Bianca M. Clark, Dyani A. Clark, sister, Ida Clark and brother, George Clark, 12 grandchildren
