Michael Anthony Swanson, Sr.

Michael Anthony Swanson, Sr. passed away in his home on July 14, 2017. He was born on Governors Island, New York on November 10, 1956 to his late parents Andrew Swanson and Gloria Collins. The family later settled in Boston, Massachusetts where Michael grew up before moving to New York.

SURVIVORS: wife of 39 years Janet (McCombs) Swanson; children, Jessica Swanson of Allentown, Michael Swanson, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Staten Island, NY, and Isaiah Swanson of Allentown; grandchildren, Dorrand Mitchell and Jessica Miller. In addition, he is survived by his uncle Charles and aunt Barbara Carter; siblings; Andrew, Mary, Alan, Griffin, Jonathan, Robert, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother William.
