Carmello Felix Frisk

Carmello Felix Frisk, 52, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday May 8 at Belle Haven Healthcare & Rehabilation Center in Quakertown, PA. Born in Reading PA, he was a son to the late Carmello Felix Zayas and Flora  Irene Warner. 

He proudly served in the U.S. Army. He went to Bible College in New York where he met his future wife Pia. Pia was from Sweden and they moved there, got married and raised two children together. 

Before Carmello's health issues started, he practiced Judo, took care of horses, worked with the youth, and was involved in the church in Sweden. Although he had many difficulties, the one thing that remained a constant was his love of the Lord...he made that a priority in his life. Carmello  came back to the states in 2015 after living in Sweden for 20 years. Upon returning, he stayed with his loving sister, Trina in Bethlehem where she helped manage his health issues...he made sure he kept his faith in God even though he was going through a lot. 

Survivors: Children Jessica and Joseph Frisk, Kasper Lindquist and Robert Lindkuist; siblings: Maria (Linda) Purnell, Lisa, Trina Orta along with a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and two siblings, Flora Koch, Maria Orta-Rodriguez
